Life is traumatic. To protect ourselves, we splinter into aspects of the body, mind or spirit or, more commonly some blend of these three. Some live more in the mind, cut off from the physical aspects of living, not in their bodies and removed from their emotions. Others find refuge in spirit, continuously questing, searching and seeking yet never finding. Many of us live entirely in the physical realm of body, which includes all the physical aspects of living, including home, job, possessions, even family. Whichever way you express in the world, it can leave you feeling like something is missing. If you feel less than whole, incomplete, or just like there's got to be more, what you are missing is the parts of you that you have left behind. Whatever the cause, whatever the reason, you don't need to wait for a crisis to begin to call back the parts of yourself that have been lost along the way.
